How to start

Just come along to any training session.  All you need to bring is some clean, loose clothing to change into for the session and £5 for the session.  You will have 3 weeks or 3 sessions to try it out, without obligation, to decide if you want to join.  For clothing, long sleeves and trouser legs are preferable, or if you have a judo kit or Gi, bring that.  If you have practiced Aikido before, bring your full kit, we will recognise whatever grade you held in the style you practiced before, however long ago.

If you are worried about it being an intimidating experience, don't.  We'll make you feel welcome and you'll find the people friendly and easy to meet.   Try to get to the session 20 minutes before it starts so you'll have time to complete a form and be shown where to change, and what to do.  We'll look after you!
